Policies & Compliance
Transparency about how we operate, what you can expect, and how we meet College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) requirements.
Cancellation & Scheduling Policy
Respecting reserved appointment times helps us provide consistent care to all clients and ensures our therapists can maintain their professional schedules. Fees are only applied when the required 12 hours of notice is not received.
Please provide at least 12 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment to avoid fees.
Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled treatment fee to the credit card on file.
If you do not arrive for your appointment and have not contacted us to cancel, the credit card on file will also be charged 50% of the scheduled treatment as a no-show fee.
Reach us at (416)-498-0888 as soon as possible if an emergency arises so we can support you with alternate arrangements.
Our CMTO Commitments
We uphold CMTO standards to protect the public, deliver ethical care, and ensure every treatment is rooted in professional judgment.
Regulated Health Professionals
All massage therapy services are delivered by therapists registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). We follow CMTO Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics, and the Regulated Health Professions Act.
Assessment & Informed Consent
Every treatment begins with a health history review and clinical assessment. Your therapist explains the plan, discusses benefits and risks, and obtains your informed consent before and during care. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Record Keeping & Privacy
We maintain secure clinical records in accordance with CMTO documentation requirements and Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) obligations. Information is shared only with your consent or when legally required.
Professional Boundaries
Our team is committed to safe, respectful treatment environments. Draping is used to protect privacy, and therapists will adjust techniques or pressure immediately upon request.
Disclaimer & Client Responsibilities
Massage therapy complements — but does not replace — medical care. Always consult your physician or healthcare provider regarding medical diagnoses or treatment decisions.
Treatment outcomes vary between individuals. While we strive to help you meet your goals, specific results cannot be promised or guaranteed.
